Auf dem Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona stellte Asus das Padfone vor. Kombiniert mit der Padfone Station und Padfone Dock, ist das Asus Padfone als Smartphone, Netbook und Tablet zu benutzen.
Das ASUS PadFone integriert ein 4.3” Smartphone mit einem AMOLED qHD Display, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Dual-Core Prozessor und einer 8 Megapixel Digital Kamera mit Fuji Image Prozessor – all das integriert mit dem neuen Android 4.0 Betriebssystem.
Wir sind gespannt was sich App-Anbieter für dieses Hybrid-Gerät ausdenken, vorstellbar wäre sogar der komplette Ersatz eines Desktop- oder Notebook-PC’s, aber so weit werden die mobilen Programme – aka Apps – heute wohl noch nicht sein.
